Shoreham Port Authority

Shoreham is a Trust Port handling some 1.75 million tonnes of cargo annually and producing a turnover last year of approx. £9 million. To enable better working practices and to improve accuracy SPF had taken the decision to implement data capture at source using the Datalogic DL9600 hand held terminals using a Radio Frequency network to cover the whole port. The RF network was implemented using industry standard 802.11b components.
