The Datalogic 9600 Viper is a Dos based terminal, with
PC like architecture. It has a Pistol grip, which makes the unit very comfortable
to handle and use. The Datalogic Viper has been conceived to match the requirements
of harsh envirnoments, with no compromises in terms of reliability and robustness.
Built to be an open system, the Datalogic Viper supports the most
widespread mobile standards, such as IEEE 802.11b and the MS-DOS operating
system. Furthermore, an innovative user interface, featuring one of the largest
LCD displays in existance on a pistol grip terminal, 1/4 VGA, improves efficiency
at the point of data collection.
There is now a windows CE version of the Datalogic Viper available too.
