The Intermec 5020, based on the Microsoft Windows CE operating system, supports the
most commonly used tools and protocols making the device quicker and easier
to implement, resulting in faster return on investment. The Intermec 5020 supports
programming environments such as Visual Basic, Visual C++, HTML and JScript.
It also supports standard TCP/IP so that it can easily be linked directly
into a corporate Intranet. To make management of the Intermec 5020 quicker, easier,
and significantly less expensive, it supports standard SNMP. Each 5020 unit comes
standard with remote configuration and management capabilities that can be
accessed over the Internet from a desktop PC web browser.
